As you may have guessed, there are two people that update this blog! We’ve known each other since junior high, and although we’ve moved to different ends of the country we’re now roommates, we’re still good friends. Vegan food is a common topic!

I’m Kathleen, and I sometimes go by ‘K’ on the blog. I’ve been a vegetarian for six years and vegan for a year and a half of that. I currently reside in a coastal Canadian city that is by far the most vegan friendly place I have ever lived. I love to cook and bake and discovered an interest in the nutritional side of things a few years back. I am currently working towards a degree in nutrition but I am in for a long haul, that’s what you get for refusing to commit to one career choice. I currently spend my time apprenticing with a ballet company and working on the aforementioned degree via correspondence. Aside from that I like to dabble in many things; photography, knitting, sewing, gardening, reading.

Hi, I’m Eve, frequently known here as ‘E’.  I’ve recently moved to British Columbia, and am loving it! I’ve been vegan for over two years, and have been vegetarian for almost a decade. I discovered that I love to cook around the same time as I went vegan, and I love being able to say that I only know how prepare tasty vegan food! I was doing my undergrad in flute performance, but I’ve left school for the time being.  When I’m not cooking and reading vegan blogs I like to read and do crafty things (like knitting), and am trying to become more involved in all the outdoor activities that BC has to offer!
